I was just noticing the high incidence of earth shaking events and the high anxiety and anger in the air this week.
Someone approached me asking “What is going on?”, siting the increase in anger around them this past week. Coming from my intuitive/energetic training, I’ve learned to see the correlation of my own “out of whack emotions” with collective events such as natural disasters and/or violence.
We as humans are wired to sense these things on a collective scale. We have just lost touch with this part of ourselves because of our romance with logic, the mind and positivity. If you are having a bad day, I recommend take a few deep breaths, place your hand on your heart and ask “Is this mine?”
First thought, best thought.
Many times, I’ll hear no. Avoid attaching to a “wind” that is blowing and instead say a prayer for anyone “out there” who might be feeling the same way. Then use whatever fear, anxiety or anger as a channel for an activity or in service to another. Or, simply let it pass through your system. I know right before the flight crashed in the alps I was totally wigging out for a couple of days. It wasn’t comfortable, but I knew it wasn’t me and I could let it blow through. Of course, after the crash, it made more sense.
As we head into more chaotic times, this exercise will help you discern from collective energy and yours. It will calm you somewhat and help you maintain a center of calm for those around you.
Hope this helps a little!
